Well, just last week I mentioned a tool called PDFlab which I had reviewed a long time ago, that will allow you to imbed jpegs into a pdf file! I showed it to Nam and he was delighted, it perfectly solves his problem. The best thing happened today, my friend Namdar (remember the guy that spent 4 hours replacing the hard drive in my daughter’s iBook?) told me that he had scanned in a book his father had written of his memoirs, and had this huge pile of jpegs, and wanted to join them into one big pdf file so they have essentially a pdf book of his memoirs. So I do a Podcast about it, right? Well that puts the pressure on to download every darn thing that sparks my eye, and learn about it, even if it doesn’t solve a problem for me, maybe someone will need it today. I love playing with software, experimenting, learning how things work, and knowing what’s out there in the freeware and shareware world.
